The story of Jorta games

On 8 November 2017, Joris Van Derbeken asked all game fans to board his plane for the "take off" of Passaportas. This classic board game was Jorta's first release and became an instant success. Shortly after its launch, Passaportas entered the biggest games fair in Flanders "Spel" and became the third best-selling game there among all the international giants. 

Passaportas is a board game with dice in which each player initially plays a travel agent. Each player's goal is to get their passengers to the right destination by plane. Of course, this seems easier said than done because each player can also take on another role, the customs agent. As an agent, you can send other players' passengers back home. 

So with this game, fun is guaranteed, as long as you can stand light banter!

Two years later, the letter game Woblet came on the market. This game works with double-sided wooden blocks and became especially loved in schools because it promotes learning through play. Because of this interest, we gave schools an interesting offer and can now be proud that children in a large part of Flemish schools learn with our game. Woblet includes different types of word games of which you can play rounds. What makes it extra special is that the difficulty level is adjustable between players of different ages or abilities. It can also be played in different languages.

After a long period of playing different prototypes, Jorta is now releasing Witty Witches. A card game with the perfect balance of strategy, luck, pacing and a simplicity found in any classic board game. As a player, you get some magical figures who want to attend a magic party. Your goal is to get all the figures in as quickly as possible but not all the cards are extras. There are also some magic spells in the game that can curse your opponents or bless yourself. 

As you can hear, this is going to be a magically fun experience!
